Central United Community Church was founded in 1983 for the purpose of serving and meeting the Religious and the Community needs, through Outreach Programs. We have been actively serving the Chatham/ Avalon for the past 24 years.
Rev. Joseph McAfee has been the leader since May 22, 1979 and the formally organized in 1983.
Much of the dream has been realized by the helping of over 300,000 people in these years with programs that effect every part of the community life. Others Pastors as well as Community Leaders seek out Rev. McAfee when it comes to resolving problems.

- To restore families by giving them hope and a new out look on life
- To assist individuals by letting them know that God is a God of a Second Chance, and that they are important in the sight of God.
